Mark A. Lauroche

Prior to joining Byrne & Nixon LLP, Mark completed a fellowship with the Houston Institute at Harvard Law School, where he authored articles and reports advocating for criminal justice reform.

Mark graduated magna cum laude from East Carolina University in 2010 with a B.S. in Business Management. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2015, earning Dean’s List honors. While in law school, he obtained a Third Year Practice Certification and interned at the public defenders’ offices of North Carolina’s two largest and most prominent judicial districts: Raleigh and Charlotte. As an intern, Mark gained significant trial experience and successfully represented clients charged with serious crimes ranging from fraud to capital murder.

Mark is fluent in French and an avid hockey player.
